Well, the question is, of course hypothetical. For starters, you cannot find two bikes exactly the same. You can't find two riders with exactly the same skill. You can't use the same bike on two different runs because the time of day will be different, (atmospheric conditions.) The left and right lanes will have different surfaces. There are endless variables which would have to be the same and the weight would have to be the onlything changed. But ultimately, everyone knows that the red bike will go faster than the blue bike!!
